GOALS:
Support, feed, catalyze, promote… a flow of transformation in personal and collective service relationships.
The series consists of fourteen sessions, each one 90 minutes, occurring once per month over 12 months and provided virtually. Interested front-line workers will be assigned to one of the cohorts with a maximum of 12 individuals per cohort. Each registrant is expected to attend all fourteen sessions and actively participate in positive conversations. This project was developed to support staff in meaningful group conversations, build relationships, and be supportive, even after the last session.
BCARA CoP is identified by the following:
- We hold a common passion dedicated to shared learning, discovery, and support.
- This dedication is concerned with how we show up (our actions, presence, and being) in the lives of the people we serve.
- The people we serve carry histories of hurt. Our showing-up in their lives is rooted in compassion (a deep human value to meaningfully respond to human suffering).
- The people we serve enter our service cultures with the hope of personal transformation towards wellness.
- It is our commitment to meaningfully serve people in the hope of improved wellness.
- To honour this commitment, we are dedicating ourselves to an ongoing transformation of practice… to continually learn and develop actions that better support the people we serve on their path toward wellness.
Please stay tuned for another notice regarding how to register and when the start date will be. Any questions, please feel free to contact me via email. Looking forward to the launch!
