BC Addiction Recovery Association has over 20 organizational and individual members. We continue to grow and facilitate systemic change in addictions and recovery.

Benefits of Membership

Becoming a member of the BC Addictions Recovery Association helps to strengthen recovery efforts in BC by creating a consolidated team of organizations and individuals, exchanging knowledge, and working together on a Comprehensive Service Model.

Our members collaborate to create systems and policies and then advocate for that change. Together, our members create meaningful systems change resulting in the real-world practice of meaningful recovery.

To become a member, please fill our application form and send it to info@bcaddictionrecovery.ca. Organizations or individuals considered for membership will be contacted and advised of the next steps.

holds nationally or internationally recognized accreditation relating to the provision of substance use disorder recovery services or substance addiction recovery services; and/or

is funded by a Canadian federal, provincial or municipal government entity to provide substance use disorder recovery services or substance addiction recovery services; and/or

is a “Recognized Expert”, and/or

is a graduate student registered at an accredited educational institution pursuing a master's degree or PhD relating to substance use disorder recovery or substance addiction recovery.

"Recognized Expert" means an individual who:

has worked in addictions recovery-oriented systems of care;
has conducted research in addictions recovery-oriented systems of care; or
has made significant contributions to the field of addictions recovery, as determined by the Board in its sole discretion.

I acknowledge that membership is contingent upon approval by the Board of Directors, and is reviewed annually in accordance with the Society's current policies.
